Key Mystery Shopper Qualities
Reliability - Do what you have agreed to do and submit great reports on time!
Honesty - Never guess at anything; go back and check how you respond to the questions and what you write. 99% accuracy is not good enough for our clients!
Objectivity - We need you to be objective and report on facts, not give opinions. In some cases we will ask for your personal viewpoint as a "real" customer, and when this is the case it will be clearly stated in the questionnaire.
Be Observant - Our reports are extremely detailed and require specific accurate information supplied by you.
Self-motivation - You are working from your home base thus need to be self-motivated. And remember, once at the “shop,” you are our eyes and ears out there!
The identity of Mystery Shoppers is almost always a mystery to the staff at the locations we send you to. In the very few cases where it is revealed that the shop is being evaluated, you will be made aware of that.
MCG auditors must match our client requirements which means sometimes we have to send families instead of single people, younger people rather than older, males rather than females, etc. To help accomplish this, we must maintain a broad base of Mystery Shoppers.
